About Me
Hi, I'm Nick, and I like to ask questions. I refuse to accept things because "that's just the way it's been done"; I need to be a skeptic. But at the same time, I also accept when people are skeptical of my ideas — a "strong point of view, weakly held." Ask the right questions to craft a vision, but humbly accept that someone could have a better idea.

I've taken a unique path in my career that helps me soak up information and tackle problems first. At Emerson College, I studied Publishing with a focus on digital media, marketing, and business. The projects I did turned into mini-consulting gigs wherein I crafted business plans, positioning proposals, and competitive audits. Unsatisfied with the job market after graduation, I turned my mini-gigs into a full-time content & product marketing consultancy, crafting the same deliverables along with white papers and reports for clients like American Express, Walmart, Ernst & Young, and more. I continued these projects in tandem with my product management career until late 2018.

Since 2016, I've been a Product Manager for Vitals (an online healthcare platform) and, most recently, Staples. Both roles have given me diverse subject matter expertise across growth products, internal tools, SaaS, and operational software in payments and fulfillment. My penchant for learning drives me deep into every subject, reading everything I can get my hands on and chatting up every expert I can find. I'm not satisfied even with a detailed understanding of the customer and their problems... and that breeds iteration.

Ice Hockey
Like Goldberg in the Mighty Ducks movies, they strapped pads on me at 8 years old, tied me to the net, and I've been a goalie ever since. After playing somewhat competitively in college, I wanted to give back and started coaching. Nowadays I am the Goaltending Director and Coach for the Central Massachusetts Revolution Youth Hockey Organization.
Alpha Phi Omega
Alpha Phi Omega is a national co-ed service fraternity founded in 1925 on the principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Since 2011 I've been a proud brother, chapter founder and president, national voting delegate, and alumni leader. The fraternity is also how I met my spouse. Currently, I run volunteer development for our local region - I present professional development seminars, facilitate leadership workshops, and help resource alumni staff and graduating seniors.
